Interstate 85 to Interstate 95 crossing Eaton’s Ferry Bridge, 44.3 miles.
Intersection of US 158 and NC 903 to the Virginia-North Carolina state boundary line, 20.65 miles.
I-95 to Lake Gaston (Eaton’s Ferry Bridge by way of US 158, NC 903, etc.) 25.2 miles.
I-95 to Lake Gaston (Eaton’s Ferry Bridge by way of NC 46, NC 48, etc.) 29.2 miles.
I-85 to Lake Gaston (Eaton’s Ferry Bridge by way of US 158, etc.) 27.4 miles.

A Construction and Use Agreement must be obtained from North Carolina Power before constructing structures along or altering the shoreline of Lake Gaston.
Consider these guidelines as you plan:
Piers, boat shelters, and bulkheads must be 15 feet from extended side lot lines unless written permission to locate closer is obtained from adjoining property owners.
Residential piers and boat shelters shall have a maximum total of 1,250 square feet of surface area.
Maximum height for boat shelters and sundecks shall be no higher than 15 feet above normal pool elevation of 200 feet above sea level (includes height of rail on sundeck).
